During the public comment period one resident spoke in support of Catelli, saying she had known Catelli “for years and years and years” and that she would be a “wonderful addition.” No council member requested further discussion, and no opposing public comments were recorded.
Why it matters: The appointment fills a two-year term on a commission that advises the council on park programming, maintenance and events. The commission’s membership will inform future park discussions including implementation of the Howard Park master plan.
