Pelham council approves sports-park renovations bid, reappoints parks members and affirms runoff polling officials

The Pelham City Council on Sept. 22 approved a set of routine and project measures, including awarding a contract for Pelham Sports Park renovations, reappointing members to the Parks and Recreation Advisory Board and affirming polling officials for the municipal runoff scheduled for Sept. 23, 2025.

All measures passed unanimously among council members present. The council also approved a consent agenda that included the Sept. 22 meeting agenda, approval of Sept. 8 minutes and a resolution to accept a proposal for a traffic‑signal warrant evaluation study.

The consent agenda included Resolution 2025092201 to accept a proposal from Skipper Consulting for a traffic‑signal warrant evaluation at the intersection of County Road 11 and Great Oaks Parkway; the resolution was budgeted and was approved as part of the consent agenda.
