The Evansville Affordable Housing Trust Fund Advisory Committee voted Sept. 23 to award a $10,805 repair contract for 222 Polster Drive to Rhinelander, the lower of two bids, and to table consideration of a $42,400 Judson Street repair until staff can confirm property-tax payments and the homeowner27s willingness to accept a loan for costs above the program27s $25,000 threshold.
Chair Matt Heck said the committee received two bids for 222 Polster: Rhinelander at $10,805 and ACE at $11,420. DMD staff provided a scope that included installation of an EPDM rubber roof section, two vinyl windows, replacement of damaged vinyl siding and trim, and furnace and air conditioning service.
