Board nominates Tim Cummings as Waxahachie ISD’s candidate for Ellis County Appraisal District board

The board chair moved to nominate Cummings and the motion was seconded by a trustee; the motion carried 7-0. Trustees said the nominee had consulted with the district’s current representative to the appraisal district and appeared familiar with the role.
Board members may submit up to two nominees per open seat; the district submitted Cummings’ name for the ballot before the appraisal district’s October deadline.
