The applicants proposed a prefabricated shed to be sited in a back corner of the property with cedar-shake siding and roofing to match the existing house. Commissioners asked for clarification on the site plan and driveway orientation; the applicant described how the private right-of-way and driveway relate to High Street on the submitted plan during the hearing.
On the house, the commission approved replacement of multiple windows in-kind, a bay window reconfigured from a 30-degree to a 45-degree bay to provide more interior space, and replacement of a rear single door with a sliding door for increased light. The commission noted that many existing windows were painted shut and that the replacements were generally one-for-one in location and proportion.
After a motion and second, the commission voted to approve the shed and the window changes as described. The motion passed by voice vote; staff will process the building-permit notifications for these in-kind replacements.
