The Ogden Valley Planning Commission voted 5-0 on Aug. 26 to approve a requested amendment to the Nordic Village street-regulating plan that shifts a portion of the street alignment, adjusts several right-of-way widths and allows consolidation and enlargement of two small ponds into a single pond with a 20 acre-feet capacity to support snowmaking.
Ryan Christofferson, representing Nordic Village Ventures, told commissioners the amendment moves a small-lot residential alignment closer to the village core, wraps part of the alignment around Nordic Valley Way and is intended to enable better connectivity and to expand snow storage capacity.
