City planner Britney Smith summarized the application and materials on file, saying the parcel is about 0.37 acres, is zoned South Trail 1 and lies in the Venetian theme Architectural Control District. "For the record, I have signed a speaker's card, and I'm a planner with the city of Venice," Smith said as she explained the package and the elements the board should review.
