2) Approve minutes of the regular meeting closed session of Sept. 10, 2025 Motion: "I need a motion to approve the minutes of the regular meeting closed session of 09/10/2025." Moved by Board Member Hecker; supported by Board Member Marais. Roll call recorded and motion carried 7–0.
3) Enter closed session for negotiation strategies pursuant to Section 8(1)(c) of the Michigan Open Meetings Act Motion: "Moved by Haika. Support by Gutierrez." The board moved to enter closed session for negotiation strategies under MCL 15.268(1)(c). Roll call: Marais — yes; Pryor — yes; Syslo — yes; Burdette — yes; Farrow — yes; Gutierrez — yes; Haika — yes. Outcome: approved, 7–0. The board entered closed session at 8:50 p.m. and returned to open session at 9:32 p.m.
