The board moved to enter closed session for negotiation strategies under MCL 15.268(1)(c). Roll call: Marais — yes; Pryor — yes; Syslo — yes; Burdette — yes; Farrow — yes; Gutierrez — yes; Haika — yes. Outcome: approved, 7–0. The board entered closed session at 8:50 p.m. and returned to open session at 9:32 p.m.
