- Multiple policies were moved forward or approved (votes recorded as 6–0 where indicated): Policy 2414 (reproductive health) was withdrawn from final approval and sent back to policy committee for revision to correct an omitted fourth-grade reference; Policy 501 (residency proof), Policy 5200 (attendance procedures), Policy 5223 (device/instruction usage) and others (Policies 5600, 5605, 5610, 5517) were moved through second readings or to final approval as recorded in the meeting.
Motions, seconds and vote tallies were read into the record for each item. Several motions referenced by maker in the transcript included: motion by member Stultz to approve consent items (second by member Stevens); motion by member Stools to accept donations; motions by members to approve MOUs and policy actions. Where roll-call names were not read, the meeting record reports totals (6–0 or 5–1) on the record.
The board asked district staff to tighten the alcohol-service application by specifying the number and type of security personnel and to return the matter to policy review so the community has clearer guidance for future events.
