St. Tammany Parish Board of Review reconvenes, affirms multiple property assessments

The St. Tammany Parish Board of Review reconvened Sept. 4, 2025, to close out previously recessed assessment hearings and affirmed assessed values for multiple properties, the board said at a special meeting.

"This meeting is to reconvene the board of review that was convened and recessed on Thursday, 09/04/2025. All assessment hearings have been completed, and the board of review will be closed out at this special meeting," a board member said at the start of the session.

The board moved through a list of assessment items, taking a motion and second on each and recording each vote as unanimous with three members absent. Most motions were made and seconded by board members Corbin and Laughlin, among others. One item — an assessment for Michelle Robinson — was recorded as decreased to $43,796.

Board action: The board considered a sequence of assessment items identified by assessment numbers and property names in the meeting record. For each item, a motion to affirm (or, in one case, decrease) the stated assessed value was made, seconded and approved.…
