The Coventry Planning Commission voted unanimously on Sept. 24 to recommend that the Town Council release the remaining 20% retention for Highwood Subdivision, Phase 5.
The commission approved a motion recommending release of $119,114.80, the balance shown in the town engineer’s memo. Planning staff told the board they had “no concerns with the memo.” The chair called for the vote and the motion carried without opposition.
The recommendation will be forwarded to the Town Council for final action. The commission’s record shows the recommendation was made based on the town engineer’s certification of the subdivision infrastructure and standard release procedures for performance bonds and retainage.
