KUNA, Idaho — The Kuna City Planning and Zoning Commission on Sept. 23 approved a special use permit and design review for a Caliber Collision auto body repair facility on Lot 6 of the Monarch Landing subdivision, the planner said.
Marina Lundy, planner for Kuna Development Services, told commissioners the lot is approximately 1.6 acres, zoned C‑3 (service commercial), and that staff recommended additional screening with trees and shrubs along the southern side of the site in addition to fencing. Staff reviewed the request for compliance with Kuna Code, Idaho statutes and the Kuna comprehensive plan and recommended approval subject to the conditions in the staff report.
Applicant presentations: Todd Burton (representing the applicant) described the building prototype and site layout, saying the facility will use existing subdivision access roads rather than new public access points. Burton said the operation would generally run Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., with most work performed inside the building and
