The Waukesha Plan Commission on Sept. 24 approved final site plan and architectural review for a 3,429‑square‑foot addition and exterior improvements to Boucher Cadillac at 2145 East Moreland Boulevard.
Robin, a city planning staff member, described the project as two additions (east and west) totaling about 3,429 square feet, new ACM panels on the front façade, landscape upgrades, new curb and gutter and improved pavement. Staff recommended approval with conditions that engineering, fire department and water-utility comments be addressed, an engineering concurrence letter be provided before building permits may be pulled, a landscape bond be provided and that the applicant show staff where employee parking is located and mark those stalls.
Members of the public, including Mike Christine, alder for District 1, offered positive comments on the appearance and said the dealership generally maintains orderly parking; commissioners reiterated the city’s past practice of requiring dealers to sign and mark employee parking. The commission’s motion to approve included the staff conditions and passed unanimously.
