Fremont Re-1 board rescinds program supervision chart and approves student trip to NASA

The Fremont Re-1 School District Board of Education on Monday, Sept. 22, voted to rescind File CCA (the Program Supervision Reference Chart) and authorized an out-of-state trip for the Canyon City High School Systems Rocketry class to the Johnson Space Center in Houston from Oct. 23–26.
The board approved the motion to rescind File CCA on a roll-call vote after a first reading and first vote on the rescission. The transcript records affirmative votes for Miss Strawberry, Mister Alexander, Miss Mary and Mister Biden. The district characterized the file as one that is “not required as it is fully addressed through existing internal practices.” No amendment to the rescission was recorded in the meeting.
The board also approved a request for out-of-state travel for the CCHS Systems Rocketry class to visit the Johnson Space Center Oct. 23–26.
