Michael told the commissioners the IEDC has helped secure a $750 million bond to expand water infrastructure, with an objective of delivering about 25 million gallons per day by 2031 to support employers and unlock housing development. He said roughly 900 acres remain available for mixed‑use development and emphasized short‑term focus on workforce housing options.
Commissioners asked questions and were invited to contact Michael for follow‑up; he said he intended to be more visible to local officials and stakeholders going forward and left contact information for county staff and the public.
