Commissioners asked whether applicants held required licenses; staff replied that one applicant already has a commercial driver's license and another has computer skills that fit the job requirements.
The decision allows the city to fill two open positions sooner than planned; staff said funding will come from 2025 revenue increases rather than an amendment to the 2026 budget.
