The board approved consolidated items from personnel and curriculum committees by unanimous voice votes. Addendum votes included approval of winter and spring coaching employment for the 2025–26 school year and other personnel items; administrators reminded coaches that DocuSign contracts will be issued to district email addresses.
The board approved the purchase of security software and devices from Raptor Technologies at a cost of $41,200, with the Pennsylvania Commission on Crime and Delinquency (PCCD) funds applied to the purchase. The procurement was described by staff as a mix of a one-time $19,200 setup cost and a recurring annual renewal of $22,000. The motion passed 8–0.
Trustees also authorized the board president to sign a master lease agreement related to a previously approved server refresh. District technology staff said equipment and software had been delivered and the paperwork was a finance document needed by the vendor to invoice the district; the board approved the signature authorization 8–0.
Buildings-and-grounds business included an addendum to contract with Elk Environmental to dispose of remaining outdoor chemicals using the pack-and-pool method at an estimated $2,100; the motion passed 8–0. The administration said the remaining drums could be consolidated for disposal.
In student-services business, the board approved an agreement with the Berks County Intermediate Unit for interim special-education supervision services at $725 per day. The board was told the same interim supervisor has been working in the district and will be on-site; the contract formalizes the arrangement and was approved 8–0.
