- Paramedic affiliation: The council approved Resolution 2025-45, authorizing an affiliation agreement between the City of Lewiston and Idaho State University on behalf of ISU's paramedic program. Deputy Fire Chief Ritchie Lucas said the affiliation will give local firefighters and reserve personnel a local paramedic education option and noted the program's initial cohort size (the packet described current cohorts of about five students with a program cap noted as 12). Councilor Schroeder moved and Councilor Forsman seconded; the council voted unanimously in favor.
- Ordinance first readings: The council approved first readings, by title only, of two ordinances: Ordinance No. 49-54 (to implement the council's rezoning decision in CNC 25-2; described above) and Ordinance No. 49-57 (amending City Code section 35-71.1 to add an additional disabled parking space in downtown Lewiston). Both first readings were moved and seconded and passed on unanimous voice votes. First readings require further steps under municipal code before final adoption.
