Village staff and consultants on Monday updated the Village of Clemmons Board of Commissioners on a draft master transportation plan that lays out a long-range vision for roads, pedestrian and bicycle facilities, transit and freight connections.
Nat Haywood of Kimley‑Horn summarized the plan’s purpose and schedule, saying the draft is available for review and that staff will host a public open house from 4 to 7 p.m. on Monday, Oct. 20 at the library. The council was told the goal is to return to the board on Monday, Nov. 24 for plan adoption after a planning board hearing on Oct. 21.
