Collierville board approves cloud ERP purchase and systems integrator to modernize town systems

The Collierville Board of Mayor and Aldermen voted Sept. 22 to approve procurement of a cloud enterprise resource planning (ERP) solution and to contract with a systems integrator for implementation, town staff said.
Gary Vanderhagen, the town’s chief technology officer, told the board the solution will replace fragmented on-premises systems and modernize finance, procurement, utility billing and human-resources processes. "This is an opportunity for actually starting from the ground up with a bunch of HR different processes," Vanderhagen said, citing elimination of many paper processes such as time cards and vacation requests.
Vanderhagen said the town selected a systems integrator after an extensive RFP process and demonstrations; staff identified Iron Bridal Associates LLC as the systems integrator and proposed subcontracts with three vendors to provide Workday ERP, Sprypoint utility billing and OpenGov tax and revenue systems. The presentation included numerical cost estimates for the capital improvement plan (CIP) and annual subscription costs: FY26 CIP costs were listed as $3,021,796.13 and another CIP line shown as $506,100; annual subscription estimates for subsequent years were also presented in the staff slide deck. The transcript did not present a single clear, auditable total for the full contract amount.
Board members thanked staff for the multi-department effort and approved the motion by roll call with all voting members in favor: Aldermen Robbins, Hall, Jordan, Marshall, Stamps and Mayor Frasier.
Staff said the implementation contract is based on a five-year term and that the FY27 operating budget will need to include subscription and training costs; staff noted subsequent annual subscription costs in the presentation and said ongoing budget adoption will be required.
