Library expansion in Walker: beams up on new unit, brickwork begins on original building

City Manager Sissons told the commission Sept. 22 that construction on Walker's library is advancing, with beams going up on the new Unit B and brickwork beginning on the older portion of the building.
"The beams are going up on Unit B now, the new part of the the library," Sissons said. "They started some of the brickwork on the old part, so moving right along so far on schedule on or below budget. So I shouldn't say that. No. I don't wanna jinx it, but, you know, things are moving along well."
