Nanez said she has been with the district for 12 years. "I am going on my twelfth year with Greenfield Union School District," she said. She also framed her work in people-centered terms, saying, "It may sound cliche, but I really, really enjoy helping people. I enjoy helping the staff, whether it be a site secretary, a director, a principal. I enjoy helping, people understand our budgets, understand our resources. Also, enjoy helping you, the superintendent, understand, our all of our financial, information as well as the board whenever possible."
