Grievance appeal (agenda item 8.02): The board moved to table consideration of a grievance appeal by employee 8624 under Policy GBK in order to allow administration to gather additional information and to give both parties more opportunity to present details. Board member Lemon said the closed-session hearing produced questions that required follow-up and suggested scheduling the matter for Oct. 15 at 11 a.m., possibly to be held remotely. The motion to table passed on voice vote.
Superintendent performance goals (agenda item 8.03): The board voted to approve the proposed performance goals for Superintendent Dr. James Driscoll for the 2025-26 school year. There was no substantive public discussion recorded on the goals during the meeting before the board approved the item on voice vote.
