The Sacramento County Planning Commission on Sept. 8 approved a conditional use permit, a special development permit and a design review for an AT&T wireless communications facility near the intersection of Crystal Creek Drive and Vineyard Road in the Vineyard community.
Christopher Alberts, associate planner with the county’s Planning and Environmental Review division, presented the project on behalf of staff. Alberts described the proposal as a leased wireless communication facility sited within Laguna Creek Parkway, an open-space designation. The applicant requested a conditional use permit to allow the facility, a special development permit to deviate from the county’s 55-foot height limit, and design review.
