Both ordinances were adopted unanimously. Planning and property staff described the actions as routine steps to accept the FEMA funding and to acquire properties identified in the hazard‑mitigation projects; council members asked that staff continue outreach to affected homeowners and follow FEMA procedures for acquisition and title transfer.
