Deputy Superintendent Rafael Villalobos, speaking for the school district, praised the school’s robotics program and introduced coaches and students. "It's always a pleasure to be here at the Town of Cutler Bay and to be recognized for the amazing things that we're doing in our schools," Villalobos said.
School representatives said the team largely self‑taught robotics with guidance from head coach Miss Godoy and assistant coach Samantha Steele. Team members named to the presentation included Sofia Carpel and Francisco Escribiano. The proclamation reads that Sept. 17, 2025 is hereby proclaimed Bolt Robotics Team Day in the Town of Cutler Bay to recognize the students' achievement and the support of coaches, families and school staff.
Mayor Mirabond and council members joined the students, coaches and district staff at the dais for the presentation. The council offered congratulations; no formal action or vote was required for the ceremonial proclamation.
