"We are committed to identifying the funds for this current school year. So we will find the funds," Dr. Kramer said during the meeting.
School administrators and safety staff described gaps in staffing that limit the district's ability to run weapons-detection systems and conduct secondary screening without taking classroom staff away from instruction.
