Austin — Austin ISD officials told the Board of Trustees on Sept. 18 that the district has completed most deliverables required under a Texas Education Agency (TEA) agreed order related to special education, and officials outlined next steps for data systems, professional learning and family outreach.
Joshua John, executive director of governance, accountability and board services, and Dr. Cherry Lee, interim assistant superintendent of special education programs, presented the update.
