CCB thanks staff for IT response; electronic payments still offline, item catalog to launch Oct. 6

At the end of the Sept. 18 meeting CCB leadership recognized the agency’s IT and meeting staff for their response to recent statewide IT disruptions and outlined several operational updates.
Board Chair Guzman Fraylek and Director Hoe both thanked CCB IT professionals for working to minimize the disruptions. Director Hoe said CCB cannot accept electronic payments at present but has accepted more than 215 agent-card payments in person since Aug. 27 and is accepting mailed payments. The board asked staff to notify industry and the public when e-payments resume.
Director Hoe also said planned workshops for regulatory changes, previously anticipated to begin in October, will likely be delayed about a month with staff now targeting November to begin those sessions. The board announced an online database, the Nevada cannabis metric item catalog, will launch Oct. 6; the catalog will provide searchable item information, product location and laboratory results.
The board confirmed the next regular meeting date as Oct. 16 and told attendees that, after October, public comment will generally be in person only per the chair’s earlier statement.
