The Glens Falls City Water and Sewer board voted Monday to table two billing disputes, approved payment of the department warrant and approved a timber-sale bid from F and W Forestry.
The board voted without recorded roll-call names to table billing issues associated with 41 Thomas Street and 30 Fulton Street until the regular meeting scheduled two weeks later. Members said the special meeting was converted to a regular meeting so the board could pass a warrant; the clerk was unable to attend the special meeting, which contributed to tabling the billing items.
The board then moved and approved the warrant so payroll and vendor bills could be paid. No members recorded objections during the voice votes reported at the meeting.
The board also approved a resolution accepting the bid results for F and W Forestry, timber sale number 83-2025, following a brief review of bid prices and staff comment. The board noted the winning bid was lower than historical averages but proceeded with the contract award from the competitive bid process.
The board did not record individual roll-call votes or identify the motion makers and seconders in the meeting transcript; each action carried by unanimous voice vote as reported.
The billing items will return to the agenda at the next regular meeting for further review.
