The Warren County Board of Commissioners voted unanimously Wednesday to enter executive session to prepare for and review collective bargaining concerning employee compensation and other terms of employment under ORC 121.22(G)(4).
Motion and vote A board member moved to go into executive session "for preparing for conducting and reviewing collective bargaining or, bargaining concerning employee compensation or other terms of employment presented to ORC 121.22(G)(4)." A second was recorded. On a roll call the commissioners voted as follows: Mister Grossman — yes; Missus Jones — yes; Mister Young — yes. The board then recessed into executive session.
Why it matters: The cited Ohio Revised Code section allows public bodies to meet privately when discussing collective bargaining strategy or preparations. The public portion of the meeting ended after the roll call.
Ending The board did not disclose further actions taken during the executive session in the public record at this meeting.
