Approved agenda — The board approved the meeting agenda by voice vote with all board members recorded as voting aye.
Proclamation: Classified Employee Appreciation Week — The board adopted a proclamation declaring October 2025 Classified Employee Appreciation Week. The motion passed on a roll-call vote with Directors Assad Lucas, Battistelli, Goldstein, Marsh Holshin and Potter recorded as aye.
Minutes — The board approved minutes for the work-study and regular board meetings of Aug. 20, 2025 and a special board meeting on Aug. 27, 2025. The motion carried on a recorded vote; all voting board members recorded aye.
Monitoring reports acknowledged — The board acknowledged the superintendent’s internal monitoring report for policy 2 (General Operating Limitations) for the period July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025 and accepted finance and audit committee (FACT) monitoring reports relating to financial conditions and activities, asset protection, employment compensation and benefits, and staff ethics/conflict-of-interest policy 41-30. Both acknowledgments were made by motion and recorded as supported by the full board.
Consent agenda and personnel actions — The board approved personnel actions and other items on the consent agenda by motion; roll-call votes recorded all ayes.
