The Glocester Town Council on Sept. 4 authorized the town council president to sign the special conditions, assurances and reporting-guideline documents required to finalize acceptance of a Fiscal Year 2023 Department of Homeland Security Emergency Operations Center (EOC) grant in the amount of $1,333,333.
EMA Director Jerry Moscott presented the request and asked the council for the president's signature on the grant documents. The council voted to authorize the signature so the town can accept the award and comply with the grant special conditions and reporting requirements.
Next steps: Town officials will execute the grant documents and follow the reporting and assurance obligations tied to the award.
