Habitat representatives said the development will include 50 homes, mostly three- and four-bedroom attached townhomes with two detached one-story accessible homes. Site work and public-works permitting are expected to take nine to 12 months, followed by home construction. Habitat said much of the work will involve volunteers; staff said they expected to offer volunteer opportunities on site as construction progresses.
Funding and accessibility
Habitat said the capital stack includes PSF funds and typical local incentives such as systems-development-charge waivers. They described two single-story homes as fully accessible and said project partners are coordinating with PHB and the committee on outreach and volunteer engagement.
