The Lake Oswego City Council on Sept. 16 authorized the city manager to amend a professional services contract for the 2026 pavement rehabilitation project (work order 378), adding $650,369 to the contract to fund engineering and design services for next summer’s paving work.
City staff told the council the amendment raises the total contract value to about $1 million and is intended to convert next year’s program package into engineered design plans. The pavement management program executed in 2022 improved the city’s pavement condition index (PCI) from about 68 to 75; a reduced budget after that program lowered the index to about 70, staff said.
