Zoning board reconsiders and affirms variances for Valley Tire Company properties after environmental review

Tim Aissinger of Castle Construction appeared on behalf of Jim Stankiewicz Enterprises (Valley Tire Company) for procedural reasons related to the prior meeting. Aissinger told the board: "we did go for environmental review and, the town board did vote on the environmental review." The transcript shows the environmental determination had been on the town board agenda for Sept. 9 and that the board waited for that outcome before again taking action.
With the SEQRA determination filed, a motion to grant the variances as requested was made and seconded. The board recorded ayes from the voting members present (Miss Wertschock, Mister Kenny Young and Miss Ault), and the motion passed. The transcript indicates the earlier decision had been held pending completion of the environmental review; after the town board's action the ZBA affirmed the variance.
