Golf Manor Village Executive Committee met on Sept. 8 and voted to table a planned discussion of findings from a management audit and to approve previously submitted minutes.
The committee moved to postpone consideration of “David’s management audit” until the next meeting. Committee members said they would attempt to reconvene on Sept. 17 at 7 p.m.; if that date proved unavailable the matter will return to the committee’s regular Oct. 20 meeting at 7 p.m. The motion to table carried on a voice vote, with members responding “Aye.”
Committee members also moved to excuse two absent participants (one identified in the record as “David” and another referenced as “the beneficiary”); that motion passed on a voice vote. The committee approved the minutes from the Aug. 25 meeting after a motion and second, again by voice vote.
A resident who spoke during the meeting thanked the committee for attempting to move the audit item up on the calendar, saying, “I appreciate you trying to move that up and not waiting a whole month to get that before us.”
The committee confirmed the meeting currently scheduled for Oct. 20 at 7 p.m. and said it will post any rescheduling (including a possible Sept. 17 meeting) on the village website.
