Organizers of the Cedar Woolley Skateboard Challenge presented a recap to the Sedro‑Woolley City Council on Aug. 27, saying the event drew volunteer judges, vendors and families and ran without reported incidents.
Carl DeYoung, co‑producer of the challenge, called the event "safe and positive" and thanked volunteers and city staff for support. He told the council city administrator Charlie Bush estimated about 60 attendees and that firefighters handed out free bicycle helmets during the event.
