Hawaiian Gardens PHA approves consent calendar; staff reports reconciliation of PHA funds

The Hawaiian Gardens City Public Housing Authority unanimously approved the meeting’s consent calendar and heard a brief staff report about reconciling Public Housing Authority funds at a meeting on Sept. 24, 2025. The meeting began at 5:47 p.m. and was adjourned at 5:49 p.m.

"I wanted to take this opportunity to report that I'm assisting the finance director with reconciling the PHA funds for fiscal year 2022-23. So this is needed so that we can continue to get enough revenue for the program," Elise said.

The meeting opened public comment (by written submission, the city website e-comment form, Zoom, and in-person) and the clerk noted there were no members of the public on Zoom and no public comments were received at the meeting. The agenda contained no public hearings or discussion items, and there was no closed session. The board scheduled its next Public Housing Authority meeting for Oct. 23, 2025, at 5:45 p.m.
