Lance said the program “beat it by, you know, it’s 207%” of its goal in the last contract cycle and recommended renewing the contract for another three years. He said the program has met guarantees for previous contracts since 2012.
Council conducted a roll call after the motion and recorded affirmative responses; the ordinance completed its first reading and will be scheduled for a subsequent reading and final vote.
