Jeffersontown council hears experiences from three cities on downtown 'entertainment destination center' concept

Members of the Jeffersontown City Council heard a panel of municipal staff from three Kentucky cities on Aug. 19 about how an entertainment destination center (EDC) has worked in their downtowns.
The presentations were led by Jessica Graham, city clerk and alcohol administrator for the City of Elizabethtown; Blair Hecker, communications manager and former community engagement coordinator for the City of Frankfort; and Tim Ross, director of public events for the City of Owensboro. Matt (council member and member of the Economic Development Committee) introduced the guests and said the committee asked them to share their experiences.
