Gateway SD board approves recommended hires and personnel items

Board members asked procedural questions about supplemental employees’ access to district email, badges and travel charge cards. Administrative staff said the technology and human resources offices would provision district email to supplemental employees and would manage badge and charge-card access based on need and duration.
The board took a roll-call vote on item 6.2. The recorded vote was unanimous in favor: Mrs. Boyce, Mr. Bova, Mrs. Burns, Mrs. Delaney, Mrs. McGrath, Mrs. Rivera, John Ritter, Dr. Singh and Mrs. Horning each voted aye. The motion carried and the recommended hires were approved.
No individual hire names or additional personnel details were read into the public record at the time of the motion; the board handled the personnel items as part of the consent/administrative section of the agenda.
