High school construction nears interior finish; board signs off on two substantial-completion items

The Stillwater Public Schools Board of Education received an extended construction update Tuesday on the district's bond projects, including progress photos from the new high school and a schedule for upcoming site demolition and athletics upgrades.
Brian Thomas of 505, the district's bond program consultant, reported that the high school's exterior veneer, roofing and major site work are largely complete, that interior trades are installing lockers, ceiling grids and flooring, and that classroom lighting and HVAC equipment are operational in much of the building.
