Applicant Tyler Rady (transcribed as Tyler Rady's/Tyler Rady's) told the board that the tasting room and Mercantile would occupy a single ground‑floor space with outdoor seating; the brewery operation would remain in the basement under a separate brewery license. He said second‑ and third‑floor residential apartments are not part of the licensed premises.
Rady described operational controls for the outdoor areas: fenced perimeter for the front patio, a gated emergency exit, and a full‑time staff member stationed to monitor the front patio and side porch, verify IDs at 100%, and provide table service and beer runners. "We'll have a full time staff member posted there so that they have eyesight on the front patio as well as the side porch," he said.
The board required submission of the three documents to the board administrator, Tammy Hildebrand, and issued the 90‑day conditional approval. The board emphasized limitations of a limited Class D license and that off‑site sales, festival participation and crowler fills would be handled under the state brewery/manufacturer license.
The board voted unanimously to approve the conditional permit and wished the applicant luck.
