- Interim housing funding for 702 West Anaheim (Item 29): The council authorized execution of documents with the Los Angeles Homeless Services Authority (LAHSA) to accept and expend $2,631,285 in funding for the interim housing program at 702 W. Anaheim.
- Employee health benefits administration (Item 30) and voluntary insurance administration (Item 31): The council approved awards for benefits administration: Item 30 to Anthem Blue Cross to administer the city’s self-insured PPO and HMO products and Item 31 to The Standard Insurance Company to administer employer- and employee-paid voluntary insurance products.
- Council District 8 field office lease (Item 32): The council approved a lease between Saiya Holdings and the city for office space at 5659 Atlantic Avenue to serve as the District 8 field office. Councilmember Massaro recused herself under the Levine Act; members discussed a request to develop a broader policy for district office space and asked staff to return with guidelines on city-provided offices as a separate item.
Votes: All listed motions were carried by the council as recorded on the meeting. No public protests or extended hearings were held on these items during the meeting.
