At the meeting staff said they would post school-level, family-friendly versions and the school compact where required and proceed with annual reviews at the school level as part of Title I planning. The committee requested legal reference materials and federal guidance be available to staff so schools can align their family-facing documents with statutory obligations.
No formal vote was required to retain the district policy language; the committee recorded consensus to post simplified school-level versions and continue the annual review process tied to Title I planning and the ESSA requirements.
