The Planning Commission continued discussion and possible action on application LU2025-0324 concerning a special-use permit to modify ground equipment at an existing telecommunications facility at 5364 Sierra Highlands Drive to Oct. 29, 2025.
Planning staff Heather Manzo notified the commission that the application had been deemed incomplete and that noticing had already been issued, so the item remained on the published agenda; the applicant requested a continuance to a date certain (Oct. 29) to allow the application to be completed. The commission approved the continuance by motion.
The continuance was requested to allow the applicant to finalize missing information and to ensure a complete record for the commission’s consideration. No substantive discussion or decision on the merits of the proposed diesel generator and associated equipment occurred at the Sept. 23 meeting; the item will return to the commission on Oct. 29.
