Councilor LaPierre moved to waive procedural rules so the council could consider the request at the same meeting; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. Councilor LaPierre then moved to rename the park to Alfred J. Lambert Riverside Park; a second was recorded and the council approved the change by voice vote. Councilors later approved the consent agenda items that included formal acceptance of the donated sign.
Finance detail shared on the floor stated the sign donation’s value at $502.16 and that the donation was from Andy Janice. The council placed the item on the consent agenda and approved both that consent item and a second consent item during the meeting.
