Council approves consent agenda, including airport maintenance agreement, Sharp Meadows preliminary plat and bid rejections

The Cleburne City Council on Sept. 23 approved its consent agenda unanimously. The consent agenda included the following items and outcomes:

- Minutes: Approval of minutes from the Sept. 9, 2025 regular council meeting (Item 7.1). - TxDOT airport maintenance: A resolution authorizing an agreement with the Texas Department of Transportation for the fiscal-year 2026 routine airport maintenance program (Item 7.2). - Sharp Meadows preliminary plat: A resolution approving the preliminary plat of Sharp Meadows Addition consisting of 70 single-family residential lots and 5 open-space lots totaling about 34 acres located on the east side of South Nolin River Road and west of Browning Lane, north of Old Fomi Road (Item 7.3). - Bid rejections: Resolutions authorizing the rejection of all bids received for RFQ ‘‘20 five-sixteen’’ for construction of the Lakeshore Boat Ramp (Item 7.4) and all bids for RFQ 20 for construction of the Hillen Park Skatepark (Item 7.5).

Councilmember Derek Weathers moved to approve the consent agenda as presented; Councilmember Oliver Cosby seconded. The council voted unanimously in favor.
