Commission approves participation in Purdue and related opioid settlements

The motion approving participation carried 6–0.
City counsel summarized that litigation counsel recommended approval because the Purdue reorganization and added family contributions had increased funds available to governmental claimants; staff recommended approval and the commission authorized counsel to execute required documents on the city’s behalf.
